If it feels different here, it’s because we are.

We are a family business, whose original motorway service area grew out of our farm in Cumbria when the M6 was built through our land. Everything we do reflects those beginnings. In our Kitchens we make our own food, honest and nourishing. In our Farmshops, we work tirelessly to find small, exceptional producers, always starting locally. Above all, we hope that when you pass through, you feel you have arrived somewhere not anywhere; that you catch a glimpse of the place we are so proud to be part of - our environment, our produce and all the people we are lucky enough to work with.

Our allergens and nutritional information only includes dishes and products made by us on-site. Whilst we take care to ensure we're clear on what allergens are present in the food we make, we can never 100% guarantee that they are allergen free.

Allergens

While we will do our best to limit any cross contamination or contact with allergens within our kitchens and farmshops, unfortunately we can not absolutely guarantee that there has been no cross contamination as everything we serve is made in an environment handling all allergens.

The way we do business also means that our food displays may lead to cross contamination and contact with allergens, but we do try to separate out allergen containing foods where possible.

What we will do is be transparent about the allergens contained in our foods and our colleagues are regularly updated in allergen awareness, hygiene and cleaning to help manage allergens within our business. Our allergen portal provides up to date information regarding allergens but please speak to a colleague should you have a food allergy or intolerance.

Made without Gluten

We do offer some made without gluten food options and alternatives such as gluten free flatbreads, these can be chosen as a dietary alternative but we can not 100% guarantee that there is no cross contamination as gluten based products are used throughout our service areas.

Dairy

We do offer dairy free alternatives such as milks for hot drinks, these can be chosen as a dietary alternative but we can not 100% guarantee that there is no cross contamination as dairy based products are used throughout our service areas.

Nuts

We do offer some nut free food options and alternatives, these can be chosen as a dietary alternative but we can not 100% guarantee that there is no cross contamination as nuts are used throughout our bakery and kitchen areas.

Calories

In line with regulations, we now display kcal information for our loose food items. Adults need around 2000kcal per day.
